Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in the third round of a TKO.
