Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings were drafted with the fifth pick of this year's WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale's parents Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her brothers older than her. The youngest sibling, she got the attention of her parents. Ogunbowale won gold medals at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships. She was named the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale was also named to the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first collegiate year.
