Thunberg decided to take an action that was decisive in August 2018. She boycotted school and made the sign 'School Strike For Climate and calmly stood outside of the Swedish Parliament. She felt this was necessary to draw interest from politicians to act to reduce global warming. Swedish media picked up on Thunbergs striking and word about her strike went out. Fridays for Future protests were led by thousands of young people from all over the world. Climate activists from across the world coordinated for the Global Strike for Climate. This was a huge success. More than 1.6 million participants from 125 nations took part.

Nia Peeples born as Virenia Gwendolyn is an American performer and actress. Her most well-known role is an actor Pam Fields who played Nicole Chapman as Nicole Chapman, in Pretty Little Liars. Her characters on the show as Sydney Cooke and Karen Taylor in Walker Texas Ranger and The Young and the Restless are popular as well.
